Madden 22 WR and TE Superstar X-Factors Revealed

Madden NFL 22 Superstar X-Factors are getting the spotlight as EA prepares for the launch of their newest football video game. Now, it’s time for wide receivers and tight ends to get some of that spotlight. Here are the abilities for pass catchers in Madden 22: Double Me, Max Security, RAC’em Up, and YAC’em Up. Once activated, they’ll allow gamers to increase yards after catches, elude defenders, and more. Without further ado, Let’s dive in!

Double Me: With Double Me, receivers will be able to win aggressive catches against single coverage. Activating this ability requires that receiver to get two receptions for 20 yards or more by air. A number of big body, strong receivers hold this ability in Madden 22. Two of the 99 Club members, tight end Travis Kelce (Chiefs) and wide receiver Davante Adams (Packers), will have the ability. So will Titans WR Julio Jones, Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins, and Buccaneers WR Mike Evans.

Max Security: When they enter the zone, this ability increases their success rate and decreases knockout chance on possession catches. To activate the X-Factor, the TE or WR needs four receptions in a row.
Three wideouts are equipped with Max Security at launch. The Saints Michael Thomas has proven to be one of the most reliable targets in the NFL. He’s joined by perennially underrated LAC WR Keenan Allen and the Cowboys Amari Cooper.

RAC’Em Up: This ability increases their success rate on RAC catches against single coverage. Three receptions of 20 yards or more will activate the ability. Game-breaking talents hold this X-Factor ability. Just two players have the ability so far. They include near-99 Club member Tyreek Hill of the Chiefs and Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs who have it available.

YAC’Em Up
: It gives an increased chance of breaking the first tackle after a catch. To trigger or activate the ability, the player needs three receptions of 20 yards or more. Two top Tight End targets carry this ability in Madden 22. Once they catch the ball, the Raiders Darren Waller and SF’s George Kittle are near impossible to get on the ground.

The players revealed over the past week will be among those in Exhibition or other modes with these special abilities available. Other players will join them as Madden 22 gets going with Ultimate Team or other modes’ promotions.
