With the release of NBA 2K21, games on next-gen consoles might see a price increase. In a press release this morning, Take-Two Interactive announced NBA 2K21 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as their current-gen counterparts. Noticeably, the standard next-gen versions of the game came with a suggested retail price of $69.99 —a $10 jump from the usual $59.99 for most 3A games. In essence, the standard edition will cost $10 more on both next-generation game consoles. Also, if you purchase the standard version for a current-generation system, your license will not transfer to a next-gen console, so you'd be looking at buying it a second time to play on both.
